Rob Rule's Chris Wagner and David King (both formerly of Mary's Danish) bring catchy melodies and playful, tongue-in-cheek lyrics to the record. It's hard to resist a band that one second is shamelessly ripping off Elvis Costello (the high-powered Candywrapper? and the next cheerfully promising You're headed for a good old-fashioned punk rock beating.
